Educate Yourself Teaching Civics? Homeschooling is Political New to Homeschooling in Ohio?

Welcome to the Ohio Homeschooling Network!

This website is an informational resource for those who are:

  • New to homeschooling in Ohio;
  • Interested in understanding the political aspects of homeschooling in Ohio; and
  • Interested in playing an active role in homeschooling issues at the legislative level in Ohio.

It is also a portal to those associations, networks, local support groups that make up our diverse homeshooling community in Ohio.

Ohio Homeschooling Network appreciates that Ohio homeschoolers are diverse in their beliefs and backgrounds, but acknowledges that we have common threads, like valuing education for our children and a desire to preserve our freedom to homeschool.

Because we are so diverse, the Ohio Homeschooling Network is neutral in matters of politics and religion. However, you will find that the common theme on all of these pages is encouragement of thoughtful exploration into the idea of preserving individual freedoms to homeschool.

Our hope is that you can read about and objectively consider the issues that pertain to homeshooling in the State of Ohio on these pages.

We invite you to contact us with thoughts and ideas. We are especially interested in hearing from individuals who wish to become active members of this group.
