What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Real Simple Syndication" and uses XML (eXtensible
Markup Language) technology to syndicate and aggregate Internet content.
Using an RSS reader you can be notified when new content is added to this
newsletter. RSS readers are easy to use and can be downloaded from a variety
of Web locations. Use a search engine to locate a reader compatible with
your operating system. Follow the installation instructions.
For most RSS readers the following instructions should work for adding
a new feed or "channel":
-
Click on the orange XML button representing the news feed you want to
subscribe to.
-
A new Web page will appear displaying XML code
-
Highlight and copy the URL that is in the address bar on your browser
window.
- Paste
that URL into the "Add New Channel" section of your RSS reader
Your RSS reader will notify you when new items have been added to our
news feed.
